Application Process

  • Login to the school portal : https://portal.bcu.edu.ng
  • Update your profile and Upload all required document (see below) and
    • Applicant would be required to upload his/her current JAMB result.
    • Applicant would be required to upload his/ or her O'level result(s) (WAEC, GCE or NECO), and must have a minimum of 5 credits English Lanaguage inclusive in not more than two sitting.
    • All documents above must be in .jpg, .jpeg or .png file format and not be more than 100KB of size.
  • Check you JAMB CAPs and school portal for admission update.






British Canadian University, Obudu, represented at the Forum for Innovation in African Universities

British Canadian University, Obudu, Cross Rivers State was represented at the Forum for Innovation in African Universities which held on 7th July, 2023 at the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja.

The Global meeting themed “Strengthening Africa’s Higher Education in a Post COVID-19 world” had in attendance many leading professionals in the academia, the Ministry of Education, NUC, ITF and several national and international universities were also represented

The meeting was able to bring to fore issues and solutions around four major tracks
1. Fostering sustainable university -industry partnership
2. African Universities and the global north- pillars for a win-win partnership
3. Integrating technology and entrepreneurship in universities
4. Strengthening resource-constrained African Universities through partnerships

During the keynote speech by Her Excellency, Professor Sarah Anyang Agbor, African Union Commissioner for Education (2017-22), She reiterated the need to have centres of excellences in all our Universities.

During the award session, the FIAU team and one of the major partners of the global meeting, Rohde & Schwarz recognized some major players and contributors in the Educational Sector. Our pioneer Vice Chancellor, Prof AAA Atayero was also a beneficiary of both awards.

The pioneer Registrar of the University, Dr. Mercy Agumadu was also present at the global meeting. In her words, she said “We met old friends and made new friends. We look forward to a fruitful partnership with all”
