His pursuit of knowledge led him to the esteemed University of Ibadan where he had Bsc (Hons) in Chemistry, furthering his education at the University of Western, London, Ontario, Canada, and Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, he obtained his masters in Curriculum studies/Science Education and a Ph.D. in Science Education. Hence, Professor Oriaifo stands as an epitome of educational excellence.
Professor Oriaifo's expertise traverses the realms of Curriculum and Instruction, delving into Inquiry Methodology, focusing on Instructional Approaches and Evaluation. He stands adorned with numerous accolades, notably as a Fellow of the Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (FSTAN) and a member of esteemed academic bodies like the Nigeria Academy of Education (NAE) and Nigeria Education Research Association (NERA).

Dr. Osiatuma Victor Azubuike
Dr. Osiatuma Victor Azubuike, an eminent figure in the medical sphere, serves as the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre in Asaba. His journey commenced on the 29th of April, 1970, in Benin City, within the household of Mr. and Mrs. Benson and Roseline Osiatuma Nwaoligbo of Idimu-Odume, Ogbe-Onihe quarters of Atuma-Iga in Oshimili North L.G.A, Delta State.
His educational expedition began at Eresoyen Primary School in Ogbeson, Benin City, followed by a stint at Western Boys High School for his secondary education.
The academic corridors of the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, embraced him, awarding him a Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1996. Dr. Osiatuma's career trajectory took flight through his housemanship at the Warri Central Hospital in Delta State, followed by National Youth Service in Osun State.
In 2001, he joined the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, as a Medical Officer. His pursuit of excellence led him to undertake Residency Training at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC), culminating in him becoming a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in 2008.
His journey within the Federal Medical Centre blossomed as he ascended the ranks - from Consultant in 2008 to the esteemed role of the Head of Department of Radiology in 2009. Demonstrating his prowess, he took on the responsibilities of Deputy Head of Clinical Services and Training, alongside being the Postgraduate Training Coordinator, a role he meticulously discharged for four years before ascending to the position of Head of Clinical and Training in 2014.
In a display of remarkable leadership, Dr. Osiatuma Victor Azubuike stepped into the shoes of his predecessor, Dr. Leo Erhumwunsee, assuming the role of Acting Medical Director at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, in June 2015, a post later confirmed in 2017.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is a devoted family man, married to Pastor (Dr.) Vivien Ijeoma Osiatuma, and blessed with two children, Chantelle and Buchi Osiatuma. His devotion to his Christian faith and his leisure pursuits of football and tennis add depth to his character.
